The Barilla Marathon Eve Dinner provides runners and their family and friends with an opportunity to fuel up for the big race with delicious Barilla pasta dishes filled with complex carbohydrates, the body's best source of energy for athletes and non-athletes alike.
The festive dinner features three recipes designed by Barilla's Executive Chef Lorenzo Boni exclusively for the marathon and created specifically with a runner in mind. The dishes provide an excellent vehicle to get other healthy foods, proteins and healthy fats into your diet -- such as vegetables, lean meats, olive oil and legumes.
But most of all, the festive atmosphere provides dinner-goers with a chance to create and share meaningful moments that will become a part of their marathon experience for years to come.
Live entertainment and beverages courtesy of Dunkin' Donuts, Poland Spring and Coors Light will also be featured at the dinner.
(The event is wheelchair accessible.) Regardless of the time specified on their tickets, guides for entrants with disabilities who accompany their assigned entrant will be admitted at the time specified on the entrant's ticket.
A limited number of additional tickets for family and friends ($25) will be on sale at the expo. These tickets may be used at any seating time.
No bags larger than the size of a purse will be allowed, and all bags may be subject to search.
